Design Boards - What to include

  1. Don’t dwell on ideas that you have rejected/not developed on the design boards they’re there to show progression in what you have done.
  2. Focus on what actually had an impact on the final income and design process itself throughout.
  3. Each board should have a distinct focus and title that only talks about that section of the project (idea generation, research…).
  4. What each board discusses can change depending on the project, for example, print methods won’t be discussed on design boards for a screen based project.

The boards that should remain consistent throughout are:
  • Brief
  • Idea generation
  • Research
  • Developments

They should all include some sort of initial ideas such as thumbnail sketches and good quality professional standard photos, to represent your walk in the best possible light.
