In order to create a more realistic interpretation of how the app could be used in real time I created this mockup/promo video that clearly shows the audience the ease of navigation and uses within the app.
What’s happening:
- The user begins by logging into the app itself
- The first page is the feed that is set to show artists that fit the user’s particular filters
- This is the menu transition
- The user enters their own profile and can edit the placement of the images, which is how someone else would view their profile.
- The link takes the user home.
- Messages when unread will have a little red notification dot.
- Open unread messages and reply through the normal UI keyboard.
- Change the filters of the artists that come up on your feed.
- Scroll through the new artists relevant to your new filter settings to find what you need from a collaborative partner.
- Explore page allows you to look at profiles within a particular area, this could be used if you are planning to travel to somewhere and want to find any placements etc.
- Once you have a match with some (clicked yes on each other’s profile) the app will notify you and give you the option to either message them or view their profile.
- By clicking the folder on a profile, it will save them to the archived section where artists are sorted chronologically and divided into specialisms.
- Open old archived profile as and when needed
- In the settings, the user could change what their profile is visible as e.g. could be turned to local if you want to only be visible to people looking for local collaborations.
