Final Crit Feedback

In my final crit from feedback I discovered that the ideas I have had a successful and that they would like to see it put into the final book, it was largely agreed that taking out the text was the correct decision and therefore making the wayfinding system entirely visual. It was also agreed upon that various materials should be used within the wayfinding system, such as a variety of paper against acetate. This will add texture and differentiate the meanings of the pictograms to the audience. It was discussed how the booklet would be bound, although I would have preferred to have bound the book with a single binding ring, the audience thought that due to the number of pages additional binding may be needed; I will be looking into binding techniques, although I like the idea of using binding rings as the book can be used in a loop style.

It was asked that I should do some more primary image investigation into the locations in which the vinyl asterisks would be placed as well as some locations which the arrows would be placed to be able to create mock-ups. These mock-ups will show an accurate representation of where the audience will need to go to be able to align the image to do the comparison of old and new.
