Tea Typography Experiments

I began to explore the word tea typographically by using teabags themselves, writing the letters on them, this could work as a type face as they are physical objects that could be re-arranged to spell anything. It can be adapted to any typeface style, this is a simple and basic example which has been arranged and photocopied. Although, I like the way it looks home-made and almost basic, as a tea bag is something that is so cheap and easily acceptable.

To explore the object typographically I took the brief literally and created the alphabet through using a light box and tea leaves that have been taken out of the tea bag. This created texture, although would be impractical for a type to be used in any context.
