Through study task 1 we are to work as a collaborative
in the groups assigned to create a diversion, new connection and make someone
pause or stop. This experimentation will take place in a public space, allowing
a none informed party to react with the different wayfinding.
The super-graphics used must not include
text and only consist of abstract graphic language, meaning the representation
of the meaning changes depending on what the audience think.
The super-graphics must be recorded in
context, current wayfinding systems (successful or not) must be recorded around
Leeds to influence your diversions.
Consider colour, semiotics, abstraction, area, pattern, site,
human traffic, line of sight, line, plane, scale, sequence, camera angle,
time-lapse, humour.
