The brief:
To create a logo which can be used on a plethora of platforms including electronic and printed, that represents the 'Friends of Mossy Bank' community committee.
Background:
Friends of Mossy bank is a locally run committee, which prevents the development of a piece of public green space in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. The committee has regular meetings and is in touch with the council about improving the area of the green space and naturally enhancing the space.
Target Audience:
The target audience is the general public and local community. People come into contact with this logo you know nothing about the organisation and therefore it must be simplistic and obvious, whilst also withholding with the local area/council and taking into consideration the natural features that are specific to the mossy bank.
Mandatory requirements:
A logo in both printed and on-screen formats, in a variety of appropriate colours and formats.
Must be understood by all and simplistic.
Must be adaptable to be able to be understood within a community that does not know anything about the organisation.
Must keep with the style of the local council, yet be distinctive as its own entity.
Considerations:
You must take into consideration the different demographics which will come into contact with this logo.
You must understand the way in which it will be used both admin official and promotional purposes.
The logo must be low-cost to produce on mass production, as this is an organisation with minimal funding.
Tone of voice:
The tiny voice of the logo must be official, whilst also representing what the committee stand for.
