Fidget house event pack:
- seems obvious outcome
- similar things already exist
- the object is for an exhibition how would you be able to take into account the pack would have to be picked up and used multiple times
- I like the idea of the different styles mixing in terms of the visual literacy of house coming into the smaller container, similar to the way in which the subgenre is created.
The investigation into things which don't exist:
- investigate into surrealism
- investigate into meme
- could it be moving image, contrasting against the existing image of the house could it contrast completely against the idea of house visualisation.
- can incorporate a way to include the different layers that comprise the music, while still representing that isn't real.
The feedback which I received in the critique show me that I should be investigating into things that don't exist, this got the best response and seem to be the idea that most people are interested in. I believe this is an interesting concept because most music genres do have a background and are just built on top of a joke of two DJs.
