Toxic Masculinity - Consideration Point

So far in my research in toxic masculinity, I have found out in depth about the different ways in which toxic masculinity is viewed by different people, which has allowed me to gain an insight about what kind of opinions people have about the origin of toxic masculinity.
The overall overwhelming opinion that every person seems to agree with on the topic is that it needs to be neutralised and has no positive effects on society.

As I have been able to gain an understanding from my research so far I began to consider the ways in which graphic design could change these opinions and thoughts. This led me to consider the following ideas:

From my considerations I began to think about what would make more of an actual impact, the subject itself has the awareness around what it is about, it also has a wide level of understanding in terms of what is meant by toxic masculinity. Therefore it leaves the question what impact would something such as a poster series or book about the topic do. Whereas if there was an immersive experience, environment, product or service that could involve males in a way which would be deemed 'unexpected' by the ideals of toxic masculinity in order to break the taboos of masculinity. I want the outcomes, I will eventually get to, to be realistic and able to slot into a current marketplace and be able to make a difference. Therefore I have made the decision to look into products which are distinctively separated into male and female categories, yet should be open to everyone. Through changing the designs based on some of these said products and making them more accessible to a male market it would be able to break the linked taboos.
