Vitl is a subscription service for personalised vitamins, their post outbox shows the user the product before they have opened it. this is an interesting concept. the colours that are used are bold and in high contrast meaning the box itself is easily identifiable and unmistakable as the only thing on it is the logo. Although this means if people wanted to be discrete about the products they are ordering the could not be because of the clear identity.
Hubble is a new brand which is currently taking the contact lens industry by storm, this is aimed at a younger market which is evident in its flat illustrative design style and muted tones printed on the delivery and packaging itself. The colours that have been used are neither masculine nor feminine and this is an example of a product that is aimed towards both genders because of such design style. This technique is something that I will be taking into consideration with my designs. The post outbox is also more simple with the main design on the inside, therefore, giving the box a more discrete look. Something which the client I am aiming towards would appreciate, as buying makeup openly as a male came up as a major issue in my research.
