- the colours used, may be taken from gender-neutral values, grey-white and yellow; but when mixed in such a gradient manner it creates a more masculine vibe.
- the packaging is too dark to be a label that would stand out.
- the final colours are an improvement but when I think of cosmetic brands I don't think about rainbow tonnes, it doesn't seem like something that would be good for your skin.
- the box looks more like it contains electricals, because of the blue tones all mixed with darker ones.
Idea Two Feedback:
- The idea is cleaner, seems more like something to do with beauty.
- The colours used are more gender neutral, but brighter colours would make the product stand out more especially to a younger target audience.
- The logo is more contrasted on half of the piece and is hard to understand, it should be made clear in a way if you want the concept of the packaging to make it discrete and use colour as a theme it shouldn't interfere with the colour itself.
