From this is considered what would be needed for each aspect of the brand in order to make it successful, for example, what would be needed for an in-store campaign, such as packaging, in-store point of sale graphics, the possibility of a stand and in-store integration advertising.
I then considered the idea of an online store, this would be taking information from my questionnaire and responding accordingly; therefore giving males a chance to purchase makeup in an online environment and therefore break into the market. Online sales are also taking over from in-store sales when it comes to my target market of 25 and under, and therefore an online store would be tapping into the target demographic. To be able to create this a website itself would need to be produced, alongside the branding and design factors itself.
I then took into consideration the way that online shopping is moving, as of recent online subscription boxes are taking over the way the industry is getting their products to their customers. The system works with online promotions on the appropriate platforms which are then linked to the website where the user can either simply order the products. Some of these platforms are customised to give the user the best out of their experience. This method would work with my type of product range as it would allow for the user to order the items online, taking away the in-store factor of them having to go into a shop and purchase the products, allowing males to have more confidence with the purchase in the first place. For this type of format, I would have to create the same type of content as for a website, including the mail out packaging itself.
