Split is a small studio based in the North of England they
have recently completed design which resembles a circuit boarding uses the idea
of circuits as is the basis. The album art itself resembles a circuit board which
has also inspired the typography for the piece. The designs are intricate and
details which wouldn't be suitable for the type of branding we need to create
an event, due to the fact that needs be eye-catching bold and instantly
recognisable. The design uses the colour blue is a background, this contrast
against the usual use of green while still offering a visual familiarity, and
contrast against the lighter colour elements which have been placed above it.
Two Points
Two points studio based in Barcelona he welcomed bright bold
colourful branding. As can be seen in the work with this local branding they
completed for an event, they use Klein blue this would work well for our branding
due to the bright bold colour, with white simple texts overlaid over the top to
create a great amount of contrast. When thinking of electricity the colour blue
comes to mind, hence the name electric blue. As can be seen below the use of
contrasting colours works well within branding posters to be able to gain
simplistic visual memorability.
