Durex - Presentation Planning

In order to hand in our work and concept to D&AD, we had to compile the work into a submittable format, due to the format of the work itself; which had been previously discussed throughout the duration of the project. As our concept is focused around an animation video we must hand in the animation video itself, along with the opportunity to create 4 jpegs that allow us to further explain the concept. 

Brief Guidelines 

4 JPEGS will include imagery that is relevant to what is being said alongside:


1. Overall Concept 

  • Idea generation 
  • How does it relate to the audience directly
  • Where was the content created
  • What relevance did the content have
  • How does it relate to the Durex brand
  • It was important to include different types of people and different types of couples to be representative of the audience as a whole. 
2. Animation 1
  • what is the storyline behind the idea 
  • what is the visual language inspired by
  • how does the animation capture the tone of voice for the storyteller and make it relevant for the audience who are viewing the animation (the target audience) 
3. Animation 2
  • what is the storyline behind the idea 
  • what is the visual language inspired by
  • how does the animation capture the tone of voice for the storyteller and make it relevant for the audience who are viewing the animation (the target audience) 
4. Complete animation 3
  • what is the storyline behind the idea 
  • what is the visual language inspired by
  • how does the animation capture the tone of voice for the storyteller and make it relevant for the audience who are viewing the animation (the target audience) 
  • How the final animation encapsulates the ideas presented in the overall idea
  • How the animation was produced
  • How the other animations would be similar and/or different in style to bring together the entire campaign.
