CC - Social Media Ideas

Once the bases have been designed with needed to begin to consider social media, the way in which you could fit into the branding and the promotion of the event itself. We began to consider the way in which the event branding can work within a social media realm as can be seen in the notes within figure 1 to 3.

Instagram Posts
  • Event announcement
  • Empty Circuit
  • Speaker Names
  • Daily Posts:
    • Speaker Name
    • Photo of the speaker with photos of the workshop in progress
    • Image of circuit closing with images of workshop outcomes
  • Circuit closing at end of the week

Instagram Stories

  • Make a collection for each speaker on the Instagram page, showing updates and snippets of the day

Animation Plans
  • Introduction
    • Logo
    • Intern X LAU
    • Dates
  • Circuit Filling Up
  • Individual Circuit Closing
    • That element of the circuit, filling up and stopping
    • Will move onto the next person on the next day

Social Media Initial Sketches/Storyboards

Before designing social media and animation packages, we decided to sketch our ideas in the way in which animations could come together. By having this plan meant that we were able to keep to our time planning and deliver social media expects as part of the presentation. Figures 1 and two show the notes on the planning of the social media itself.

Figures 3 and 4 show the first ideas about the gif, the gif would show the logo and the dates on flash every three seconds to give the most basic information about the event itself. Figures 5 through 8 show examples of the ideas we have the animation. We are going to make an animation of the empty circuit with each of the elements filling up or becoming in use as it goes around.
