Second E-Mail Communication

A second email communication was received from Courtney, we arranged to meet up on Wednesday to be able to brainstorm ideas for the book itself. She also invited me to come with her on a shoot on location to be able to get a better understanding of what happened images she was taking in the way in which she wanted a final idea presented.

We decidedDuring the meeting session we should brainstorm, which would then further allow us to come up with ideas for the book itself and also gather some initial ideas for me to go away and visually research.

Brainstorm:

Fairytale style

Use of nursery rhymes

Use of surrealist poetry

Use of typography in a way that manipulates the imagery

Simplistic and modern layout in order to let the images speak themselves and interrupted

Possibility of hardback binding with gold gilding if possible.

 It was decided I would go away research into the idea of typing the way in which they manipulated with imagery within fashion photography. I would also be attending the shoot and assisting in order to be able to get an understanding of the images that would be going into the book. I would also take some time to look into traditional bookbinding that includes gold gilding and equity features in a traditional style.
