Profile Images:
Due to the format of social media are needed to take into
consideration of profile images and also banner images. These need to be a representative of the brand identity and contain each of the elements of the
brand identity itself including the typographical object and the logo. The
profile and it was easy enough to create due to the square formats being
carried across all of the social media platforms (in this case Twitter and
Facebook). Due to the size of twitter profile pictures being propped down into
a circle when not enlarged, I ensure to make sure the LGBT media was centred
amid small enough, as well as the typographical objects behind it to be able to
create an image in which all elements are clear. Although the LGBT media is
overlaid over typographic object here, it is still consistent with your brand
identity as this is not a printed outcome, due to the high screen resolution on
modern technology, the colours will not get lost or distracted from due to the
white fill text above it, as can be seen here in this experimentation all of
the colours are still evident.

As the Facebook event was the first form of social media
that was used for advertising for the event these were the first banners that
were created. Although each social media format has different sizes for
different banners as can be seen in figure 1) the client waited for me to send
across the Twitter banner, they use the Facebook which then cut off the date
with the profile image, this was quickly rectified and I sent them the correct
version. It was important that the date on the banners of social media as
it did not need to be the brand name, as the banners were only visible on the
actual page of the event itself people will already be familiar with the brand
name by being on the page. Therefore, the most important information to be
given next is the date on which the event is happening. The brand is still kept
within the visual identity of this banner through the use of the outlined
rainbow LGBT media typographical object the background of the date itself, this
was edited to be able to fit into the banner correctly with proportions.

I was also not made aware that tickets were being I was also
not made aware that tickets were being sold using the Eventbrite network. Rather
than asking for a banner that fitted once again the client used Facebook as the
header. This needed to be changed in order to give the audience the name of the
event. Eventbrite uses this as the initial banner to advertise the event, it
was important to advertise the name of the event itself with the logo and the
core branding. Therefore, this was corrected and we uploaded as can be seen in
figure 4.
