Book cover developments

Below is one development of an illustration from a key scene in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, it features also the infamous bath sofa. The illustration was done by hand and then transferred into illustrator to be converted into a vector based image. This is something that I wanted to do from hand as I wanted to keep the more loose illustrative nature to each of them, taking an abstract interpretation of the movie scenes. I chose this scene because, although it is very well known, it features something that is unique to this particular movie. Although I am going to continue to develop these designs as this is a very busy illustration and may lead the cover to appear messy.
