Pantone Book 1st Document

The ISSUU that can be seen above is the first attempt at my Pantone book, discussing the use and need of Pantone as well as the use of colour within Graphic Design. This was printed on various papers mixing together 210gsm card and tracing paper, this is to add texture to the book. To bind the book, due to its thickness and my lack of knowledge when it comes to handmade binding, I used two clips at the top giving the effect and hinges of a flip book, although when reading to the book it proved that it was difficult to be able to flick from page to page due to the format and thickness I chose. Therefore, to develop this idea I will be attending a book binding workshop that will allow me to develop the skills needs to create double spread documents. I will also be further researching pagination to be able to take in consideration how to print the book correctly using my chosen stock.
