Don’t want to tell people and say it out loud due to the
emotional impact.
People don’t find that they want to go asking for help and
searching for help.
Although the video talks about university the video clearly
identifies the way in which invisible illness is treated in comparison to illness
which can be physically seen and identified. Added pressures of other elements
of life affect the way in which a person may be inclined to react to particular
situations, in which should they have to discuss their mental health with a
stranger in order for them to understand the reasons why they need to use a facility
because it isn’t something that the particular person can wait for or strain
themselves in doing so for fear of judgement.
Mental health is now classed as an invisible illness - But how many people are aware of this and what do people know about what they need to do to be able to alleviate the pressures of someone suffering from mental health.
