ID - No Go Britain Introduction


  • Hope for a legacy for disabled people after the games, it is good to see what was expected to happen and realistically what has happened.
  • Public transport being highlighted as one of the main issues of how the country approaches the daily affairs of people with disability.
  • Train – you have to book 24 hours in advance to help get on and off, but no guarantee for help.
  • Apprehensive and fearful to travel.
  • Tube - a lot of stations are completely un-accessible.
  • Clearly identifies that issues within transport for disabled people is an issue that has been present for a long time, and one that is still not up to the standards that should be correct for anyone to travel.
