ID - Public transport in the UK with disability

No go Britain notes:

Paralympics bought some advantages to London in terms of public transport, but it is still a struggle to get around the capital.
It is only 20 years since it became illegal to discriminate against disabled people.
Having a scooter means people can have their independence, return journey said to a disabled person that they can’t get on a train they had previously been on due to her wheelchair. Forced to take alternate routes which aren’t accessible or particularly viable for people.
Organisation ‘transport for all’.
Not all stations are made for wheelchair users.
Some ramps are made for goods, not people.
No considerations from companies mean disabled people are encountering more injuries to themselves, making getting around and everyday life harder.
Taxis were charging more for wheelchair users in comparison to non-wheelchair users.
