LGBT - Next Steps

Taking into consideration the feedback I received from the critique session, I've decided to progress on with ideas two and three, as these seem most popular and also most fitting for the brief.

I will be developing the idea of depth, exploring with possibly the idea of shadows to be able to create a less obvious outcome. This will also create a softer contrast between the negative space and the intensity of the colours itself. I will also experiment with the removal of the block colours itself, again possibly softening them all using simply a line.

I'll be developing idea three by testing out more black backgrounds on top of the typography, I will also be testing out each colour background for the letters itself, allowing experimentation with the colour of the flag and the removal of some of the colours itself. I will also be attempting to experiment with outlines as I did in idea one. Although the use of outlines was not successful in idea one it was the most popular feature about that idea. I also believe the use of outlines may offer simpler contrast between each of the colours when overlaid, as can be seen already with an idea 3.
