When Susie was 23 she was told she had a tumour on her spinal cord compressing her nerves. She needed an operation to remove it as soon as possible.
The operation didn’t go according to plan and Susie woke up paralysed. She was in the hospital for over 3 months, left with a wheelchair and crutches, and told she’d likely never walk unaided again. On this week's podcast, Susie explains what it's like living with an invisible disability.
