To be able to ensure that I was using the correct colours
for that type of illustration I decided to experiment, after completing each
illustration in separating the layers I decided to change the colours on each
one also overlaying them over a background colour. This background colour would
either complement or contrast against the colours that could be found within
the piece itself. To doing so it offers the Brighton board visual factor
required by travel to London for advertising campaigns.
- Too similar to the colours used within the fishbowl illustration.
- More representative of the colours that are representative of the other forms of transport across the network.
- Higher contrast.
- Shadow adds depth but may be too complicated for the required style of the brief.
- The bright background is fitting for the brief by being bold and brave.
- The colour of the background is not very present in the illustration itself, may need to be pulled from the illustration to make it more harmonious.
