Cherrytree Bakery - Shortlisting and Chase Up

Shortlisting E-Mail

Three months after the submission and after multiple emails chasing up university to see what's going on with this submission, received an email to tell me my design has been shortlisted. Although due to a decision on the name itself the board would need to have a meeting to be able to decide which design to move forward with. Yet part of the brief was to create a new name, and a specification of preference was given about the name. Since receiving this email, it has now been a few more months, I have chased at the University team who deal with competition entries multiple times. To which I've had no luck, other than being told they cannot chase it up.
I believe the brief and the design was successful in terms of creating a branding identity for the brand which spoke for their tone of voice, was also taking into considerations of developments of the brief such as the heritage. I can see this was successful through my design being shortlisted. Unfortunately, I cannot further develop the design nor give an accurate representation of where the design can go due to the lack of correspondence between the University and the client themselves, despite multiple requests for the University to contact the client regarding the brief.
