Idea 1 feedback:

Feedback:
- The black background works well against the rainbow colours, gives the effect of being there without dominating the entire piece.
- The type works well being plain and large, makes sure the name and content of the event are clear to the audience.
- The steps break up the traditional expectations for the LGBT flag, yet you can still see it is evident through the layout, and the colour order.

I decided to present both of the variations for this idea to show the way in which both the dark and the light background colours were experimented with to be able to explore the contrast with the colours in the flag.
Feedback:
- The black background works better than the white as the deeper contrast mutes the intensity of the colours in the flag with the way that they are presented in the development, in order to better fit with the brief.
- The negative space of the white variation is too much, with the intensity of the colours on the flag and the black writing there are too many contrasts happening, it becomes confusing for the audience to be able to understand the information and the concept.
- A further experiment with the shape itself, possibly remove the block colours and use a thin line making the representation of the flag less prominent throughout, similar to the experiment that can be found in the first idea.
- Possibly try creating more depth on the object itself keeping the colours but the addition of a shadow or some transparency would be more fitting for what the brief requirements, and give it a younger feel that may be more appealing to a younger student audience.
- Try using lines rather than block colours that are over lined with each other.

Feedback:
- Black works better than white, same reasoning from the last two.
- Experiment with possibly turning this into an animation.
- Possibly combine with some of the other methods that are found within the other explorations.
- Try selecting out one colour from each of the elements and use it as the background colour to be able to tie together the entire piece and possibly bring the colours together in a more vibrant way, giving a more celebratory feel to the whole piece it self.
